No. You add a profile by business name and address — there is no OAuth, no access to Google Business Profile Manager, and nothing for your client to share. We only observe what any member of the public can see.
Dashboard tools connect to your Google Business Profile account and track what Google reports on the inside — useful, and it covers appeal and reinstatement states. GBP Sentinel deliberately works from the other side: public visibility on Maps and in search, what a real customer actually sees. The two don't always agree — a profile can look healthy in the dashboard while it's effectively gone from public results, and that case produces no notification anywhere. We also need no account access at all, and alerts go to Slack, Telegram and webhooks, not just an inbox.
